Digital Transformation Technology Skills for Industry 5.0 On completion of this course, students will be able to take up employment within organisations who are transforming their processes to integrate data, new technologies, data analytics, improved ways of working and improved support processes. The Focus • Research into current and future trends in manufacturing; • The application and impact of the greater use of technology; • Data analysis and visualisation on performance; • The impact on organisations and levels of maturity to complete such transformations; and • Ethical and corporate social responsibilities associated with such changes. Course Structure The course is divided into 3 components*: February 2026 Online learning June 2026 1-week intensive in-person workshop in Johannesburg* May 2026 – July 2026 Project work, Career guidance and mentorship sessions *Selection for the course does not automatically guarantee a place at the 1-week in-person workshop. In-person attendance is dependent on available funding, which will be confirmed in advance.
