Funded workshop opportunity for postgraduates and early career researchers

An exciting opportunity is available for postgraduate students and early-career researchers interested in exploring Mathematical Optimization and Control for Industrial and Societal Challenges in Sub-Saharan Africa. A 4-day workshop will be held at the Manhattan Hotel in Pretoria, South Africa, from 7–10 September 2026. The program will focus on how mathematical optimization and control theory can be applied to address real-world challenges in areas such as logistics infrastructure, financial inclusion, and environmental management.
