PhD in Economics

There is an open call for several PhD students in Economics at the Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics (DICE), University of Düsseldorf, starting in October 2026. DICE is looking for researchers with a strong interest in Economic Theory and Policy, Industrial Organization, Behavioural Economics, International Economics, Empirical Economics, or Econometrics. Your Profile a completed scientific university education (M.Sc. / M.A. / Diploma / Magister) in Economics or in a related quantitative-mathematical discipline with outstanding grades talented and motivated applicants with a strong interest in Economic Theory and Policy, Industrial Organization, Behavioural Economics, International Economics, Empirical Economics or Econometrics very good knowledge of theoretical and empirical economic methods and an excellent command of the English language
