PhD in Hybrid Scanning Antenna Design

PhD Opportunity – ONERA & IETR/INSA Rennes (2026) We are offering a PhD starting in October 2026, co-supervised between ONERA (Toulouse) and IETR/INSA Rennes. The project focuses on the design of an ultra-compact hybrid scanning antenna for radar applications on drones and nanosatellites, at the interface of antennas, RF, additive manufacturing, and radar systems. This opportunity is ideal for Master 2 students or engineering students with a strong background in electromagnetics and a keen interest in applied research.
