PhD Position in Statistics - University of Innsbruck The Department of Statistics at the University of Innsbruck is inviting applications for a University Assistant (PhD position) in the areas of probabilistic modelling, statistical inference and machine learning. The position is offered for 4 years, starting as soon as possible. It initially comprises 20 hours per week, increasing to 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed. We are looking for candidates with a relevant Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics or a related field, a strong background in probability and statistics, and programming experience in R and/or Python.
