🚀 PhD position in EPR spectroscopy & RF instrumentation – University of Stuttgart
They are recruiting a doctoral researcher for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network SPACER.
🔬 Project: Miniaturized EPR spectroscopy and imaging for advanced electrode characterization
The project combines:
• EPR spectroscopy
• RF / microwave electronics
• hardware prototyping
• redox flow battery research
You will work at the Institute of Smart Sensors (University of Stuttgart) with access to high-field NMR/EPR magnets, advanced RF instrumentation and facilities for 3D-printed electronics.
The position is part of a European doctoral network with 17 PhD researchers and 21 partners across academia and industry.
📍 Stuttgart, Germany
📅 Start: April - June 2026
💰 Salary: ~€3900/month (MSCA Doctoral Network contract)
⏱ Duration: 36 months
They are looking for candidates with a strong background in:
• electrical engineering
• physics
• spectroscopy / RF electronics / instrumentation
⚠️ MSCA mobility rule applies (must not have lived in Germany >12 months in the last 3 years).
