We are involved in the new DELight experiment which will use a cryogenic superfluid liquid helium-4 target to search for light dark matter. Our group in Freiburg is involved in background reduction and simulation, material selection and will prepare the underground site and operations, including the slow control system. The successful candidate is expected to play an active role in some of these activities. Applicants should have a Master's degree (or equivalent) in physics and knowledge in particle/astroparticle/nuclear physics. Programming skills are highly beneficial.
