Postdoc light and biological active matter

A fully funded, 2-year postdoctoral position is available in my group at the Università della Calabria (Italy), with an expected start date of October 1, 2026. We are combining advanced 3D imaging and quantitative modeling to investigate how microalgae navigate complex light environments, aiming to develop microalgae-based biorobots and adaptive biomaterials. We are looking for candidates with a PhD in physics or a related field, alongside a background in soft matter and biophysics.
