he Experimental Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (EFDL) at the University of Michigan is hiring a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (start date flexible, as early as April 2026). We are looking for an exceptional experimentalist to work at the forefront of Adaptive flow control using smart morphable surfaces, Bio-inspired propulsion and (Preferred) Deep reinforcement learning for unsteady flow control. This position offers the opportunity to lead high-impact research, mentor students, and collaborate within a strong interdisciplinary ecosystem through the Center of Naval Research and Education.
