POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN STATISTICS Mathematical Statistics & Functional Data Analysis

Candidate Profile: • PhD in Statistics, Probability, or a closely related field (completed or near completion); • Strong background in mathematical statistics and theoretical methodology; • Demonstrated research excellence, evidenced by high-quality publications or strong working papers; • Interest in FDA and modern nonparametric and adaptive methods; • Proficiency in R or Python; • Fluency in English (written and spoken); • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an international research team. We Offer: - Contract type: Fixed-term contract (CDD) of up to 2 years. - The salary may be adjusted based on qualifications and experience, in accordance with institutional guidelines. - Working hours: full-time. - Start date: May 2026 (flexible). - Workplace: The position is based on the Ker Lann campus near Rennes, a dynamic and livable city in western France, offering an excellent quality of life and an active academic community.
