Your Responsibilities Writing a dissertation in the field Algebra and/or Algebraic geometry Independent research projects in the field of mathematics Conduct and assist in teaching activities (1.5 hours per week per semester in average) in English and/or German Present and publish scientific results at conferences and in peer-reviewed scientific journals Your Profile Strong interest in research in Representation theory and/or Algebraic geometry Strong background in Mathematics, ideally specialising in Algebra and/or Algebraic geometry Familiarity with Knörrer-invariant algebras and related structures is an advantage Ability to work in a team and social competence Very good command of English proficiency in German is beneficial, but not required Completion of an http://M.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics or related field prior to appointment Application Documents The following documents are required for a complete application: Letter of motivation and academic CV Complete proof of completion of the degree program required in the call for applications Proof of the language skills, required in the curriculum, if the doctoral program is not completed in the first language.
